The latter are way superior to anything I have used with my iPod ever. But I do like the case. I had read a lot about these, but when I finally got them I was a little disappointed as they were not that great. Ended up replacing them with a pair of CX300s for airplane trips and PX100s for home use.
Comes in great handy when someone starts talking to me, as my MP3 player tends to be tucked away and locked.I would definitely recommend these earphones to anyone looking for some good quality sound without emptying the bank. I was amazed at the great sound, and they have a super handy volume control on the chord too. These are great. I was looking for a cheap, but not too cheap pair of earphones, and stumbled across this gem. These are AWESOME earphones for a small price.
For 9 USD i guess you cannot expect more from them. They seriously lack bass. I owned 2 other sennheiser products, excellent. I thought these ear buds will be as good, but they are not.
They were not in a package, no guarantee, etc. The cords are two different lengths, the jack has a gold tip, not like is pictured on the Amazon listing, which then came from TigerDirect. BEWARE FAKES. My daughter just received her new Sennheiser mx500 earbuds. She is satisfied with the sound, but they are clearly fakes.
Still good value overall and will be great for travel. I like to watch DVDs on my computer while propped up in bed and the short line means I have limited range of movement before the headphone buds pop out of my ear. Love the small and easy storage container and the sound is fine, though the inline volume adjustment works for only minor tweaks -- not full volume adjustments. The main reason I'm not rating these higher is the short length of the line.
